How to set a password? 

WARNING ! You can set a password on the ring or tag with other apps in apple store like NFC TOOLS but Your ring or tag will not be writable without a password. This process cannot be reverted if you forget your password! Please download and follow the steps in the app.

You will be able to remove your password in case you remember your password! 🙂

How to lock the ring? 

WARNING! You can lock the ring with other apps in apple store like NFC TOOLS but this will PERMANENTLY lock the ring and tag and make it read only. You will never be able to write the ring ora tag after this. This cannot be undone. Please download and follow the steps in the app.

NOTE: WE DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU LOCK YOUR RING and TAG,  WE WILL DO NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND. 

Which iPhones can write our rings and tags?

To write or encode our ring or tag, you need to have an iPhone 7 or newer and be running iOS13 or newer. While the iPhone 6 has NFC for payments, it cannot read or write our ring, even with an App.

While the iPhone XR, XS and 11 ,11 Pro ,11 Pro Max or newer can read our ring without any additional Apps, you do need to install an App with the iPhones 7, 8 and X. Read our tutorial on how to read our ring with an iPhone.

 

Which iPhone App for writing our rings and tags?

We recommend using our app Born2Evolve app , It’s free, reliable, regularly updated.

 

For Android users:

At the time of writing we do not have Android app yet (will coming soon), In case you would like to use our tag or ring you will ned to use the following apps: Alias app Simply NFC app NXP’s Tagwriter app  and NFC TOOLS app is quite simple which is great for getting started. We’d also expect the app to develop quite quickly with new features being added regularly.
